Introduction:
Hey guys and welcome back to my blog! I've missed you all. During my time off I have been working on some minor (but very beneficial) changes to my audio story. I got to explore Adobe Premiere even more and learn how to make my audio story so special. I am looking forward to create more films in the future using this software because Ive really enjoyed being trained in it and seeing all my work come to life!
Adobe Priemere
This software is apart of the Adobe Cloud. As I mentioned briefly in my last post, Priemere is used to bring your stories to life by adding video for audiences who have the ability too see. For those who are blind, your audio is as important to your visuals. You want to make sure your audio captures them and makes them want to continue listening just as much as your visuals. This final project has been very rewarding and informational due to all the details that I have to keep in mind to make sure my story attracts both audiences. It is important to add graphics to indicate what you want your audience to know so that they understand what
So What did I changes did I make? Why?
In order to make my audio story more clean cut, I added Video Transitions. These can be found in the bottom left section of Premiere under the tab "Effects". Once you click the Effects tab, a variety of options pop up. I used video transitions because I wanted a variety of my shots to be transitioned in a unique and calming way making it look more natural between each cut. There's a variety of transitions you can choose from. All you have to do it click on the transition you want and drag it over to the photo and/or video you want to add the effect too. So simple! If you don't like the transition (or any effect in general) just type command Z or click on the transition in your timeline and click delete. You will notice I didn't use a transition for every photo / b-roll. I didn't want my story to be too cheesy and add one for every single clip. Once you watch it, you'll see I put transitions where I felt needed it most.
B-Roll
If you watched my Audio Story from last week, you will also notice that one of my clips wasn't just an image. I added b-roll for creativity purposes. I thought a checklist made the most sense for what Emily was describing her mystery man. I hope you liked it as much as I do!
Here is my Audio Story.
